I'm a resource junkie! When I encounter something I don't know about,
need to know about, or just want to learn more about - I typically get
on the internet or pick up the phone and find something or someone that
has the information I am looking for! I also like to share what I find,
which is only fair since someone else has shared it with me. Below
are some of the most useful resources I've found related to goats. If
you have something to share with other goat producers,
email me and I'll try to post
it.
Some of these documents have been edited by me
and put into a Word or pdf file for my personal use and
what you are seeing is my modified version. I will direct you to
originals if possible. Please site the original author if you use their
information. And remember, if you copy one person's work it is
plagiarism, but if you copy (and cite) lots of people's work - it's
research! (I learned that while working on my doctorate!)
CASEOUS
LYMPHADENITIS -
This is an article from Dr. S. Mobini,
Fort Valley State University, Georgia.
American Sheep Industry
- This site has great information, mainly about sheep,
but also has the Research Journal of Sheep and Goats. It's worth
a look!
I'm especially looking for some history on the Boer Goat as a
breed and it's entry into the U.S. - if you have great
documented info, please share!
